Guys, as one of the older users (more than decade) of Linux (and one of those unsatisfied about where Linux is directing) I’m pretty amazed about VoidLinux. I’ve just installed in on my not very often used laptop for testing purposes and this is maybe what I was looking for - system with rolling updates, relatively new app versions and mainly without systemd bloatware.
Installation went pretty smoothly, nothing complicated, package manager, even though I have some remarks about its ‘stupid’ (thx god for aliases) syntax, works pretty well and I’m especially pleased with Void’s init system so far.
After some more testing I’m going to deploy this rocket to all PCs in my house, so please don’t disappoint me Void! Well done.
