NetworkManager-vpnc (template)

#1

Here is a template for NetworkManager-vpnc I made and tested.

# Template build file for 'NetworkManager-vpnc'.
pkgname=NetworkManager-vpnc
version=1.2.4
revision=1
lib32disabled=yes
build_style=gnu-configure
configure_args="--prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --libexecdir=/usr/lib --disable-static"
hostmakedepends="pkg-config intltool"
makedepends="libnm libnm-gtk network-manager-applet-devel libsecret-devel"
depends="vpnc"
short_desc="NetworkManager VPN plugin for VPNC"
homepage="https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/NetworkManager"
distfiles="${GNOME_SITE}/${pkgname}/${version%.*}/${pkgname}-${version}.tar.xz"
license="GPL-2"
maintainer="anon<masaj@gmx.com>"
checksum=39c7516418e90208cb534c19628ce40fd50eba0a08b2ebaef8da85720b10fb05

I just had to have nm-applet running also in gnome, since without it VPN session was not established properly.

Hi @cqs
You might try to propose your template to the Void devs by opening a Pull Request on github, maybe it will be accepted.

I just found this one: #5799, but was closed by its author… :neutral_face:

#3

Yes, I was thinking about this possibility. Just needed to run some of those applications not packaged in Void, so I can actually use the system in daily life. If I have more time I’ll open a request.

#9773 :face_with_monocle: yes I see, it was accepted! congratulations!

#5

Yeah, one more reason to stay with Void.
